Journaling is one of the most effective practices for personal growth. And I make a point of downloading the thoughts, experiences and reflections that occupy me at the moment onto those blank pages. Some of them I share here, and I welcome you to take a peek into my mind.
I write about consciousness and spiritual intelligence.
I am in awe of the power of mind, spirit and consciousness
and use myself as a laboratory to push the limits for what is possible.
My hope is that sharing my journey with you can inspire yours
- just like so many people inspire mine.
When life brings you a whole lot of challenges at the same time, it can be hard to navigate.
It is uncomfortable - the uncertainty, the lack of clarity what to do, the fear of what will happen, the worry about if all will go well. We can get ourselves trapped in a maze of thoughts that take us no where in the search for what to do. Or projecting outwards on the world outside of ourselves - blaming other people or getting angry with our circumstances.
Because where we can easily end up is in out mind to try to solve things, work things out, find the answers. So that we can quicker move on with our life, gain clarity and be happy and let go of the discomfort that have taken space on our body.
I get myself into what I call 'confusion traps' sometimes. It is when there seems to be so many things that I need to take action on and so many things that need to happen. I get stressed, and my default is confusion - where all I'm left with is a feeling of not knowing what to do or where to even start to unravel the gordian knot that life sometimes seem to tangle itself into. There are a lot of things that can help in this situation to help us move on.
Here is one 3-step process I use to move myself from confusion and stuckness into calm and action.
1. I get to the truth
I always dive deeper into the underlying truth of the challenges. I investigate deeply within myself the meaning I have attached to the situation and the things that are happening. What thoughts and feelings have I created about and attached to this particular issue? What am I giving my power to in this situation?
Am I making something mean that I'll not succeed, that I don't have what it takes, that I'm not good enough, that I'm not strong enough. What deeper meaning is running my thoughts and feelings right now?
This will give you clarity about what is really driving your thoughts, feelings and actions in the situation. And knowing the deeper meaning will give you an opportunity to dissolve those limiting thought patterns that cloud your situation. What ever you think your challenge is, there is almost always a deeper truth running you.
2. I sit with what is
When the deeper truth is starting to appear, I sit with what is. I really accept what ever feelings come up - regardless of how uncomfortable they are. If we reject or resist anything in ourselves, then we reject all of ourselves.
It takes courage and commitment to really dive as deep as we can into the subconscious beliefs and assumptions we operate from in a situation. When we are suffering in life, it is often connected to deep parts of ourselves that are rarely very pretty to look at or aspects that we like to be confronted with.
But really sitting with what is and give it space - even if it feels uncomfortable, scares you or even makes you nausea is what will give the stuck emotions room to move and transform into something better.
Don't be scared of anything that comes up.
3. I stay in the present and wait for guidance
When I'm in my confusion trap, then I don't know what to do. No action feels quite right and I'm not sure what is the best action to take. But I'm standing with this challenge in front of me that I have to solve.
By now, I know what is driving me and the meaning I have attached to it, I have been sitting with it until it has moved and released its grip on me. That has given me a level of peace and calm, but it hasn't necessarily given me action points. And action is needed so that we can start manifesting the changes we want to see happen.
Then the best thing to do is be present and wait. Trust that your next best step will show it self.
It's not easy. It feels like being in a waiting room, waiting for the bus to take you somewhere so you can arrive safely to where you want to be. It's not coming and you just have to sit there. Instead of getting annoyed, fearful, frustrated, upset - turn your awareness to the present. To the truth of this moment and accept what is.
What would you do if you had to make yourself as comfortable as possible in this situation? What is the most joyful thing you can do right now? What is the best thing you can do for yourself to just be present? Make a cup of tea, sit and breathe, take a walk, just sit and stare, clean. Even if it doesn't feel quite like the most joyful thing - is it still the most joyful thing of all the things that are available to you right now?
Don't distract yourself with external stimuli like phones and tv. Be present.
And when you have done that thing, ask yourself 'what is the next thing I can do?' What do I feel like doing now? Not what is the best thing, the right thing. But what do you feel able to do now from this place in yourself?
Follow those steps one by one and all of a sudden you will have moved yourself out of immediate confusion and into action. Taking ALIGNED action is what brings calm, clarity and a feeling of empowerment.
If we take actions from a fearful, limited self, we will quickly just create more and more suffering for ourselves.
Taking the time now will save you down the road
These steps take time. It can be an hour, it can be 5 minutes it can be a whole day. It all depends on where you are in your journey. The question is if you have the courage to take the time out now to get to the root cause, to get yourself in alignment and to heal yourself. Or if you will continue to struggle, which counterintuitive can seem like a seducing place to me. Because the other course of action is unfamiliar.
It takes courage, trust and acceptance - and knowing that you are whole. You have what it takes.
But every time you take time out to go through this process, you develop strength, deep inner awareness, courage and power, which will serve you in all areas of your life.
So next time you find yourself in a stressful situation that blocks your vision; Understand what deeper beliefs are driving you in the situation 2) Sit with it and accept is as much as you can so you give it room to move. Resist nothing. 3) And then wait. Be present and just ask what is the next thing I can do - regardless of how much sense it makes to you at the time. Just do the next inspired action and get yourself back on track.

Is higher consciousness better than lower consciousness?
I believe Yes and No. It is a choice. My journey has taught me well.
The higher consciousness we grow into and access, the easier and more difficult life gets.
More choices become available, more joy is felt, greater creative ideas land in our visions, life becomes more balanced and varied, we have more energy, we access out of this world wisdom we didn’t know existed, relationships deepen and heal, more experiences present themselves, less fear more courage. It is endless and it is life affirming.
But growing in consciousness also brings more pain as the light shines on all the hurt we hid in the dark and the farthest corners of our being. It can bring overwhelm as we realize...

When I browse SoMe these days my feeds are filled with people who are occupied with perfection or more precisely; with declaring war on perfection and celebrate the many ways they think they are imperfect.
And what I see is not a trend, which is authentically or truly liberating anyone. What I see are people, who have just swung into the dysfunctional aspect of another polarity.
Though it can be a sign of waking up, of recognizing falseness and of the beginning a healing journey - which is great and a needed step - embracing imperfection is not a sign of high consciousness, power or alignment within one self. And it is not a path, which is desired to stay on for long if one wants to become a powerful creator and master of this life we have been given.
If you have been sitting too long in ice cold water to gain clarity only to realize that you get weaker and weaker, would you then jump right into boiling water thinking that would be the answer?
Perfection exists and is desirable
What I hear and see are not people who are liberated. I see people who are waking up to the reality that they have been trying very hard to follow or be some ideas about what perfection is. But they were false ideas. Stories made out of distorted truths. They were manipulated ideas internalized as truths.
They have put so much energy into these false ideas of perfection, which because of their falseness could only cause confusion and struggle, that now they turn against perfection.
When waking up to the reality of the falseness they have engaged in, the response is, “Hey perfection must be the problem here”. And they seem to think they liberate themselves by saying “I’m not perfect and I don’t want to be”.
What is evoked in the embracement of this opposite is just another aspect of disempowerment. It is limiting, false and what seems like a liberation will shortly put you into new struggles.
Because rejecting perfection is rejecting your own full potential. Your ability to create – manifest.
Hanging out in the polarity of imperfection is still keeping you in separation, still keeping you in resistance, still keeping you in inaccuracy, and thus inability to live your full potential.
It is a usual human response to take the frustration of the struggle and confusion one has experienced out on perfection and the achievement hereof instead of recognizing that perfection never was nor never is the problem. But it doesn’t make it right. Perhaps your ideas were false, and the path you thought you had to achieve it was false. But perfection is fine – it is actually more than that. It is possible, it is awesome, it is liberating and it is the path to the highest mastery of life and creative power.
Perfection is an energetic code
To become a powerful creator and master of life, one needs to embrace and be comfortable with the strive for perfection as well as the idea of perfection.
And if that makes you uncomfortable, ask yourself if you are merely reacting to the many ways that you do not think perfection is possible, that you do not think you have what it takes, to your lack of true understanding of what perfection is, to the fear of feeling inadequate in relation to it? I read claims that if you just master this law or this aspect or integrate this shadow, then you will be able to powerfully manifest. NOT TRUE. What is required is the mastery of many ways, many skills, many tools. What is required is perfection. What you get to then create is perfection.
And I have to say it is pretty awesome when perfection arise. It comes with a feeling of order, harmony, beauty, there is not resistance, no opposition. There is peace, stability, alignment.
The mystical notion of the perfected human being exists for a reason.
Perfection is an energetic code that you embody, and which translates into and intertwined with high mastery and high consciousness. It is a code of integration, ability to powerfully direct energy and shape consciousness and partner with Source, which is needed for powerful manifestation.
Manifestation is not about vibration or attraction. Consciousness and its relationship to source energy is the only thing which has creative power and ability to influence outcome. And as long as resistance exists in you to the ideas of perfection you keep yourself small and disempowered.
I’ll invite you to integrate the resistance to perfection that exists in you and hope you can find inspiration in some of the ways or understandings below.
If you seek spiritual advisors about the answers to your future, the likelihood is that you hand quite a lot of your power over to others. If you really knew that only you held the answers to your life, would you still pay to do that? Read here for how to reclaim your spiritual power.
I have put a lot of money in the hands of different clairvoyants and spiritual advisors over the years. Before I got a firm grasp of what spirituality, energy and spiritual powers really are, I had the misconception that they somehow held some answers to my life I didn’t have access to. I would come to find out if the things I wished for would come true, what the right choices would be for me, would I meet someone, what I’m supposed to do in my life, am I with the right person, will I have children and when, am I on the right path, will my business succeed?
Little did I know how much these questions and the people, who readily answered them for me, kept me in a place of disempowerment, dependency and disillusion. Read more her if you want to learn about 3 ways that can help you reclaim your spiritual powers when using 'spiritual advisor.
Try out not being attached to your feelings of brilliance or make them special in the same way you shouldn’t be attached to your feelings of inferiority or make that special. It just is. Observe it, let it go, get on with creating what you want to experience. We are all divine beings that are on this earth with limitless potential for creation and expression and a birth-given opportunity to bring our uniqueness to the world in whatever shape and form that looks like. And that matters. But we are not important, have a special role, a needed brilliance, are necessary, or needed. In the eyes of spirit we just are. So go be.
Saturday morning I left an empty fridge behind and headed to my parents in the countryside for an overnight stay. By the time I returned Sunday evening, my fridge was filled to the brim with the most delicious organic homemade food; fresh juices, nicely prepared salads, healthy snacks, veggie patties, dips and more.
And when I got up this Monday morning, I knew that the only effort I need to make to have a healthy, nourishing meal this week is to gather my utensils and fill the plates and cups. To me this is freedom. A strong vibrating energy of freedom.
MANIFESTING NEW RESULTS
Investing in someone to come to my home and prepare all this freshly organic food is just one in a series of actions that I have taken as a part of my latest manifestation process. My intended outcome resonates to freedom, hence my part of the deal with the universe is that I take new freedom-vibrating actions and in return the universe delivers on my goal.
Notice the word ‘new’ and ‘action’. Two of the most important words, but also often most difficult steps when manifesting new results in your life. I have come to learn two important things about manifesting in my journey with spirituality and creating the life I want.
1) We all manifest differently in partnership with the laws of the universe but 2) we all have one thing in common, and that is the need to take ‘new action’ when we want new results. And it is this latter one that I'll focus on today.
MANIFESTING IS ABOUT NEW ACTION
MORE BRINGS MORE
For me to decide to invest in having someone prepare food for me was not even a thought that was somewhat present in my mind at the beginning of my recent manifestation process – not even remotely. I started with smaller choices like saying no to some things, saying yes to some things, signing up for a dance class etc. But as I started taking actions aligning to freedom the results started to trickle in, and new ideas became available - like hiring someone to do my food to allow me more freedom at times. A new ‘out of my comfort’ actions that challenged old conventions, thoughts and patterns. From I made the decision to contact the person to cook for me, I went through several stages of old thought patterns telling me that it was probably not a good idea. But I persevered – did it anyways - what is the worse thing that could happen? And even thought it is not a choice I can sustain every week at the moment it does help me to put me on a bigger choice trajectory that step by step leads me to bigger and bigger results, so that one day.............

One of the things I help my clients with is bringing their spiritual power into their business – or life - to create success. In fact, spiritual powers are so central to success that I’d even go so far and say that you can’t succeed without it.
Maybe in the short run, but sooner or later you’ll experience a kink in the hose your success is flowing from. It might manifest itself in reoccurring challenges, as struggles in your personal life, in lack of ability to grow beyond your current success level, in sudden lack of meaning or tiredness. Or many other areas.
No matter the obstacle, the remedy is always to invite on board your spirituality and spiritual powers. One of many spiritual powers is knowing our truth, which for instance affects our marketing.
What’s the truth on truth then?
The more you are aligned to your truth the more abundance you’ll create in your life.
By truth I mean, your soul, your true nature (not your acquired nature).
Imagine your soul being a unique recipe of energy, and each of the energies holds a specific quality, which translates into your gifts and talents. We all consist of the same ‘energetic ingredients’, but there are just as many different recipes as there are people on this earth.
The more you engage with the energies you are abundant in, the more you align with your true self and the more abundance you’ll also create (we are talking universal law here).
Your abundant energies hold the key to your path
Perhaps you are abundant in the energy of LOVE, for instance. Among others this is really about relationships and connecting and creating through and around relationships. If you are abundant in love, being with people in person or doing videos online will serve you better than other people that have a different energetic imprint. Because people often like to experience and feel your energy, which makes video a really good medium for you to broadcast your service.
For other people, who are not abundant in love but are abundant in other powers, doing videos online might not be the best use of their time. Simply because they are gifted in other areas and need to put the majority of their marketing efforts into things that allow them to bring those gifts and talents out.
And perhaps you want to do videos regardless - because it makes sense for what you are offering - but how you do it successfully will depend more on your personal truth than what you are offering, so you might have to do things completely different from other successful people in your market.
Creating based on your truth vs. the collective consciousness
If you don’t know your own truth you create based on the collective truth (that is the truth of the masses), which says that xyz is the shit (like videos are key to success), or based on the thinking that what has worked for others will work for you, and then you can end up barking up the wrong tree.
If you listen to others truth more than your own, you simply are creating on other people's terms and can waste a lot on time on things that will actually not bring you flow and abundance. But if you know your truth, you can very accurately go out and pick the skills, tools and knowledge which will teach you how to grow in accordance with your true path.
Be aware of bypassing
However, this is not to say that because you find it daunting or uncomfortable to do online videos or other things for that matter, then it is because it is not ‘true’ for you. Very often it is highly uncomfortable to step into our truth because we uphold patterns of behaviours, limiting thoughts or feelings that keep us from actually accessing our truth.
So the question for you is how much you invest your time and resources into discovering and following your own truth or into living other people's truth?
Does the word routine invoke a mix of stress and boredom in you? I have come to love the power of routines. Read why...
Generally words like 'discipline' and 'routines' have a bad rep with me. I used to think that anything involving these two words - or words related to them - would be 'hard', 'tedious', 'boring'. And it had nothing to do with living a joyful, free life and self-love.
Until one day when I had a conversation with a dear friend while being a little down and I heard myself say 'I need to get back into my spiritual routine'.
After having engaged in spiritual growth and self development for more than 10 years, it finally dawned on me what the secret to a happy and fulfilled heart is. Will power, commitment, consistency, routines, and practices.
Routinely prioritizing myself, having inspiring practices that bring me closer to myself, and having the discipline and commitment to honor my self and my well-being by treating them as sacred.
It is extraordinarily challenging to transform yourself against a backdrop of spiritual development, and consciously participating in your own evolution. And having spiritual routines help you progress and stay on track.
I wish I had known this when I first started out. Or perhaps I did, and I was just either to lazy and thought it would happen on its own without me doing anything - or I didn't believe I really had the power to make a difference for myself. But now that I know and I get it, I want to share my practices and routines with you, and encourage both myself and you to stay on track. Because having routines also means that sometimes we break them - and get bored with them - and we sometimes need new inspiration to spur us on. I will do my best to do just that.
